JoJo Loves You ...And me, too!

Hi all :) Long time, no talk :( Fail on my part.

However, I just had to make a pit stop here today to let you know I just got an email from a company called JoJo Loves You and they are having a huge Memorial Day Bling Sale right now!

Small Wedding Oopsie!

So I found out late last night that 13 of my girlfriends were left off of the mailing list for my shower invites. Oops! My bad :). Because my invites were handmade by my aunt, we didn't happen to have any extras laying around.

So I ran to Walgreens (the closest store open at 8:30pm on a Sunday) and grabbed what I could to make do.
I new I had to send something out, and I think they ended up turning out pretty cute!

At AWOL today. It's an outdoor music festival here in Charlotte. Sun is a-shinin' and we are jammin'. Happy Saturday.

Instagraming

Even though I said I would post this yesterday, I'm still posting my Instagram photos late because I want to share :) This was my first go at Instagramimg and I am kind of in love. I knew everyone said when I get the iPhone that I wouldn't really need my computer anymore (which is pretty sad to think about), and I'm slowly starting to realize it for myself. This camera is incredible.

Started my day with a spinach smoothie.

I wore some cute earrings that I got about 2 years ago and never wear because they hurt my ears... Hence why they are on my desk in this photo.

I'm a child and bring ants on a log as a snack at my corporate job.

The love of my life loves his iPhone as much as I love mine. We are meant to be.

I'm determined to still use my Mac, post-iPhone purchase.

I like to read vanity plates while sitting in rainy traffic on my drive home from work.

Veggie Pasta, Please.

Of course my first real post in a while is food.

So I wanted to share a quick, easy, and delicious pasta with all of you. I know that veggies can be pretty intimidating, but I swear this is the bees knees.

1.) have you husband, roommate, friend, neighbor, ...cat... boil some whole wheat noodles for you while you dodge traffic to get home. (NOTE: I can't guarantee that this dish will turn out too fantastic if you get your cat's help, hehe).
2.) slice up a pretty red bell pepper, place it on a baking sheet, drizzle with oil and sea salt, and roast in the oven at 450* for 10 minutes.
3.) fill a microwave-safe bowl with water and desired amount of frozen peas. Microwave for 3 minutes; drain peas from water when they are finished cooking.
4.) mix noodles, peas, some diced cherry tomatoes, and roasted red peppers together, seasoning with garlic salt, pepper, and homemade pesto (jarred pesto is fine, too).
5.) top with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
